In Apirl 2026 to July 2026, I had the opportunity to intern for Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (CAG), a company well known both in Singapore as well as internationally recognised as the World's Best Airport by SKYTRAX for 14 consecutive years. 

During my internship, I worked with the marketing team of iShopChangi, Changi Airport's e-commerce platform, for specifically the Beauty & Wellness category. 

iShopChangi is a platform that helps travellers and non-travellers to purchase authentic and premium products, including travel-exclusive products – such as beauty items, electronics, and alcoholic beverages – online for collection before departure or upon arrival, as well as home delivery in Singapore, making the shopping more convenient

This internship provided me with valuable learning opportunities beyond my arts background. Working at promotional events has strengthened my communication and interpersonal skills as I interacted with fellow interns, customers and colleagues from various backgrounds. I also gained practical knowledge of business, marketing, and management, giving me a broader understanding of how an e-commerce platform operates within a large organization.

These experiences showed me the importance of business knowledge as a practical life skill and helped me discover new strengths and interests!
